HIKIKOMORI FINGERBOARDS BIO
The beginning.
I started fbing in 2006 then I've started makin decks. This is the first deck I made, 3 plies of birch. It's still rideable! Damn that was hard, every decks totally handshaped.
Next step in deck making was the plastic graphic. I used to print graphics on clear plastic sheets and apply to the bottom of decks. They was really good for boardsliding, I remember many peoples asking what was the amazing clearcoating ahahahah xD
Same time I started using also mahogany and walnut.
After many many researches, I decided to order maple from Rockler since in Italy is near impossible to find some maple veneer. Also started the first paper graphic. I stopped this after 3 months cause my graphics felt off from the bottom some times :\ I also bought an electric sander!

Actually, all the graphics are wood printed. I make my molds starting with an hand carved metal sheet, then bondo.
